Installation error on windows XP SP2. [message #337239]

Hi,

When trying to install Renegade I get the error pictured bellow.

It is trying to install always.dat from 2% till 48% at which I get this error message every time. I am running the soldout version of renegade which always used to work but I haven't played in a long time and I have a new computer since then. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.
