I much prefer airsoft to painball.

-It's not as messy.
-It's not as expensive.
-It's faster paced and easy to jump in and out of.
-It's a good alternative to collecting actual firearms (since you can actually use the stuff you buy in a sport vs other people without fear of killing your opponent).
-Personally, I find it much more fun and satisfying to play.

I played paintball a couple times when I was younger. But then when I tried airsoft I was like "why do people like paintball if this sport exists?!" The difference between the two was like the difference between crap and gold.

If I wanted to go and play a session of paintball, it would cost me a little under $100. Airsoft costs me $25 and I get to spend more time playing and less time re-arming and re-gassing.

There is no way I'd ever go back to playing paintball.
