It depends what sort of scripting. Here is a tutorial about text cinematics (aka cnc_c130 drop scripts)

I wrote some tutorials on using specific scripts. They offer a good start to getting used to using scripts on objects and how they are setup on them. It's worth following them so you get how scripts are implimented.
