Wel... not everyone has a Flatrate/DSL connection.
Would it be possible to allow THat renguard not connect automatical? To test Mods etc. that would be usefull, also Rengaurd Crashes if you start it without an internetconnection.

I know I can use Game2.exe for thsi also... but not everyone knows and might run into troubles.

The installer should make a Start menu link in the folder that is a shortcut to game2.exe. I'm sure that would solve a lot of problems.

i agree, renguard should be able to run renegade, regardless if there is an internet connection or not, i stumbled on that error tonight when my brother tried to go in but couldn't bcoz he wasn't connected to the net, i know there will be more people that will come across this an have no idea.
