that's quite basic. In the beginning I prefer to run to the refinery with 2 engies. But of course your team is to stupid to understand, that with 2 engies 1 will make it in the refinery so they are going to fool around. Then the best thing is indeed attacking harvey. Or even better as nod: Sneak behind the gdi harvey with en angie or flamer.
Then later in the game as gdi buy an apc and drive around the field shooting all the arty's and stealths to hell. Never underestimate the power of an apc. Especially combined with a med tank Razz
