The top Generals from all the services get together over breakfast to discuss how brave each of their services are. An argument ensues, and the Generals agree to go to each respective base to see how their men match up.
The Airforce General sees an airman, and says “ Airman! Go dodge aircraft on the flightline!” The airman says “Yes sir!” and is severly injured as a result. “Now that’s brave.” he states.
The Army General takes them to his base, sees a soldier, and says, “ Soldier! Go run through that minefield, doubletime!” The soldier screams “Yes sir!” and gets his legs blown off. “Now that’s brave.”
The Marine General takes them to Paris Island, sees a grunt, and says, “Grunt! Stop that oncoming tank with your bare hands!” He says “yes sir!”. Suprisingly, he almost succeeds, but is killed by the treads. “Now that’s brave.”
Well, by now they are all pretty impressed with the Marine, except for the Navy Admiral, who starts smirking. He says, “I’ll show you brave.”
He takes them to an aircraft carrier, where a seaman is up in the upper works, 9 stories above the flight deck. The Admiral yells up, and says, “Seaman! Jump off the yardarm!”
The seaman hesitates about half a second before yelling back, “Go F*ck yourself, Sir!”
The Admiral looks at the others, and smiles, and says: “Now THAT’S brave.”
