	| I feel like complaining.
I just got my lowers on today, and they decided to give me a bite plate to keep me from sawing off my lowers with my upper teeth. Unfortunately, they didn't tell me I wouldn't be able to chew. Not because it's painful, but because the bite plate stops my molars about a quarter of an inch before they can touch. I can't eat anything solid unless i take 10 minutes to smash it against the bite plate with my tounge.

 Sorry, but I'm pissed

Oh yeah, if anyone hits me in the mouth, they die. This hurts like fuck.

	| They were bad when I first got them. You adjust to the pain after about 4 days.

	| The ones I really feel for are the kids who forget or don't use their retainers, so they have to go through this shit again.
A friend of mine, her brother tried to rip his out with wire cutters...

	| I already had braces 4 or 5 years ago, but I might need them again because my left front tooth is rotating a bit. With any luck, it will just fix itself as my jaw grows to proportion, but if it doesn't, I'll probably need some tooth work.
Well, at least they won't be big and with rubber bands.

	| I've had braces for 1 year, now I've got a retainer which I only wear about 16 hours a day (which I lower to overnight because it SUCKS). I had them on top and bottom, but it never really messed up my bite. My top teeth never touched the braces on the bottom. |

Yeah, I was supposed to wear mine for 9 months @ 16 hrs a day, I quickly shortened that to overnight. I've had my braces off for nearly 18 months.

Back to this name.... for now.

	| Braces suck, I had mine for 2 years and got them off THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, I was so happy I got to eat a whole lot of food and none of it got stuck Braces are a pain in the ass, takes about 2 minutes to properly brush your teeth, and it hurts when they change the wire or bands to move stuff around some more. I currently have a retainer which I only where at night, and there's some part on the retainer that's jabbing into the top of my mouth, it hurts like a mother f***er. My retainer also smells like I haven't brushed my teeth in a month, anyone know how to fix that, don't tell me I have to brush my retainer with my tooth brush, that would be wierd. Do I have to like soak it in mouthwash or something?

	| Well, what I do with mine, is leave it in water until you need to put it in. Then it doesnt smell like shit-on-a-shoe, and it doesnt taste rank either. |

	| I'm getting braces soon, even though I don't need them.
All I've got is a small overbite and a rotated tooth, but atleast I won't have braces for any longer than a year.
