I made a few simply my making something in PaintShopPro 7 and using a GIF animator to put the images together. There's a tutorial at http://www.htmlgoodies.com/primers/bannerprimers.html and the programs at that time were available as free.

I made mine in PSP7, pretty easy really, only took about 3 minutes.
